Saying Farewell To George Kashickey
On Sunday, September 22, 2013, immediately following the 9:00AM Divine Liturgy, the faithful who attended met at the church hall for coffee and cake- and to bid farewell to Mr. George Kashickey as he leaves our community to relocate in Cincinnati, Ohio with his daughter Karen and her family.
George is an original, integral and beloved member of our church community and a Carteret resident for over 62 years. George served his Parish as a choir member, cantor, financial record keeper and mentor. He has always served with dignity, humility and a smile.
During our brunch we were able to share our many fond memories with George and to share hugs, tears and smiles before he leaves us to begin the next chapter in his life. We will all miss him dearly. May God grant him many happy years. МНОГАЯ ЛІТА!
