The First Sunday Antiphon

Shout to the Lord, all the earth: sing now to His name, give glory to His praise.
Through the prayers of the Mother of God, O Savior, save us.

Say unto God, “How awesome are your works! Because of the greatness of Your strength Your enemies will flatter You.”
Through the prayers of the Mother of God, O Savior, save us.

Let all the earth worship You and sing to You, let it sing to Your name, O Most High.
Through the prayers of the Mother of God, O Savior, save us.

The Third Sunday Antiphon

Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord, let us acclaim God, our Savior.
Son of God, risen from the dead, save us who sing to You: Alleluia.

Let us come before His face with praise, and acclaim Him in psalms.
Son of God, risen from the dead, save us who sing to You: Alleluia.

For God is the great Lord and the great king over all the earth.
Son of God, risen from the dead, save us who sing to You: Alleluia.

*******************************Entrance****************************

Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ.
Son of God, risen from the dead, save us who sing to You: Alleluia.

Tropars

Let the heavens be glad, let the earth rejoice,* for the Lord has done a mighty deed with His arm.* He trampled death by death. He became the first-born of the dead:* He saved us from the abyss of Hades and granted great mercy to the world.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,* now and for ever and ever. Amen.

O guide to wisdom, O giver of understanding,* O teacher of the unschooled and benefactor of the needy!* Strengthen my heart and make me understand, O Master,* O Word of the Father! Put the right words on my lips,* for I shall not prevent my lips from crying out to you:* Have mercy on me for I have fallen, O merciful One.

Apostolos

Prokimenon: Sing praise to our God, sing praise! Sing praise to our King, sing praise!

Stichon: All you peoples, clap your hands! Shout to God with cries of gladness.

Reading from the Epistle of St. Paul to the Romans:

Brethren, now our salvation is nearer than when we came to believe. The night is far advanced: the day is at hand. Let us therefore lay aside the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light. Let us walk becomingly as in daytime, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in debauchery and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and as for the flesh, pay no attention to its lusts.

But whoever is weak in faith, receive him without arguing about opinions. For one believes he may eat all things- but another who is weak, let him eat vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who does not; and let not the one who does not judge the one who does, for God has received him. Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls- but he will stand, for God is able to make him stand.

Alleluia: In you, O Lord, I have hoped: let me never be put to shame. In your justice, save me and deliver me.

Stichon: Be for me a protecting God, a sheltering house to save me.

Gospel: (Matthew 6:14-21)

For if you let men have forgiveness for their sins, you will have forgiveness from your Father in heaven. But if you do not let men have forgiveness for their sins, you will not have forgiveness from your Father for your sins. And when you go without food, be not sad-faced as the false-hearted are. For they go about with changed looks, so that men may see that they are going without food. Truly I say to you, They have their reward. But when you go without food, put oil on your head and make your face clean; So that no one may see that you are going without food, but your Father in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward. Make no store of wealth for yourselves on earth, where it may be turned to dust by worms and weather, and where thieves may come in by force and take it away. But make a store for yourselves in heaven, where it will not be turned to dust and where thieves do not come in to take it away: For where your wealth is, there will your heart be.

Instead of: “It is truly right…”

No change. We sing “It is truly right…”

Kinonikon

Praise the Lord from the heavens;* praise Him in the highest.

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
